Wilderzone

Wilderzone is a set of development servers run by GeekOfWires, used for testing technology changes against a real server rather than in isolation — and open for general community use the rest of the time.

Because they exist to try things out, what is running on them varies. That makes them useful if you want to see something new before it lands anywhere else, and worth knowing about if you are working on scripts, mods or server-side changes and need somewhere to test.

GeekOfWires kickstarted the wiki recovery that brought this site back from the Internet Archive after the original tribes2wiki.com went offline — see the restoration. It has no single maintainer: the repository is open, and anyone can contribute.

The servers appear on the JOIN tab once you have the game and a community patch installed — see Tribes 2 for setup.
